01 Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of calcuhive.com (the "Site") and the calculators and tools available on it. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree with any part of these Terms, please don't use the Site.
02 Use of the Site
CalcuHive provides free calculators and utility tools. No account or sign-up is required to use them. You may use the Site for personal or business purposes, at no cost, subject to these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use this Site. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.
03 Calculator & Tool Disclaimer
Our calculators (including GST, Fuel Tax Credit, and Mortgage calculators) provide estimates for general guidance only. They are not financial, tax, or legal advice, and should not be relied on as a substitute for advice from a qualified accountant, tax agent, financial adviser, or lawyer.
Before making any financial or business decision, we recommend verifying figures independently — for example, checking current rates directly with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) or your bank — and seeking professional advice appropriate to your situation.
04 Accuracy of Information
We aim to keep the rates, formulas, and information used in our calculators up to date and correct. However, rates (such as GST, fuel tax credits, and interest rates) can change, and we don't guarantee that every figure on the Site is current at the exact moment you use it.
If you notice information that appears outdated or incorrect, we'd genuinely appreciate you letting us know via our Contact page.
05 Intellectual Property
The design, code, branding, and original content on this Site are owned by CalcuHive, unless otherwise stated. You may use the calculators and tools for their intended purpose, but you may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute the underlying code or design of the Site without permission.
Results generated by our calculators and tools (such as a downloaded PDF, image, or QR code) are yours to use freely, including for commercial purposes.
06 Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it, or interfere with other users' access
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its underlying systems
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to excessively access the Site in a way that degrades performance for others
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
07 Third-Party Links & Services
Some tools and pages on the Site may link to or rely on third-party services (for example, OpenStreetMap for map search, or Google Analytics for site statistics — see our Privacy Policy for details). We aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party websites or services.
08 Limitation of Liability
The Site and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CalcuHive is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site — including any financial decisions made based on calculator results.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer guarantees or rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
09 Availability & Changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Site accessible, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may add, remove, or modify tools and features at any time, without prior notice, as we continue building CalcuHive.
10 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time as the Site evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
11 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from your use of the Site will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
